Neal Patterson - Director

Neal is a Director at Henry J Lyons and brings over 15 years of commercial architectural experience gained both in Ireland and the UK. Neal has a proven record of designing and delivering large-scale commercial, residential, and retrofit projects. With an in-depth knowledge of deep retrofit requirements, he has delivered high-profile projects from inception right through to completion.

Since joining Henry J Lyons eight years ago, Neal has led teams in the delivery of several notable projects, including Salesforce Tower, The Samuel Hotel, Libra Living at Spencer Place and A&L Goodbody’s Headquarters, as well as Citibank’s Headquarters in Dublin Docklands.

Neal works closely with clients to understand their goals with an aim of balancing the need to redevelop assets, while delivering best-in-class office space maximising the reuse of the existing building. His experience in identifying the needs and expectations of clients and occupiers alongside a detailed understanding of the structural and mechanical limitations of existing structures, allows the potential sustainability benefits of retrofit projects to be realised.

Neal holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Architecture from University College Dublin. Before joining Henry J Lyons in 2016, he spent six years at TateHindle Architects in London.

[Citi Bank Building, Waterfront South Central] Citi Bank’s new headquarters at Waterfront South Central, currently under construction, is located on one of Dublin’s largest remaining brownfield sites along the quays. The new Headquarters building has an expected completion of Summer 2026.
