Sinéad MacMahon - Design Director

Sinéad is a Design Director at Henry J. Lyons, with over 10 years’ experience at the practice. Sinéad’s area of expertise include large scale mixed use and commercial developments, along with masterplanning, data centre and mission critical developments. Across these sectors she has successfully led multi-disciplinary teams and contributed to a number of high-profile projects, under both private and public works contracts in Ireland and across Europe, at all stages from inception through to construction.

Recent completed projects include 60 Dawson Street, which delivered a significant city centre workplace, primary retail space and a redefined public realm to Dublin 2. Sinéad is currently leading the integrated design team in the development of the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Energy, Nenagh.

Sinéad holds a Bachelor of Architecture from School of Architecture, University of Limerick with an AAI Award Commendation for her final year thesis. After graduation Sinéad spent time teaching at SAUL before joining SPaN Architects in New York. Since 2014, she has worked with Henry J Lyons Architects. Sinéad is also involved in the sustainability steering group at Henry J Lyons and holds post graduate diplomas in Professional Practice and Construction Law from TUD and City Colleges.

[60 Dawson Street] The new building is a distinctive mixed-use office and retail development on one of Dublin’s most prominent street corners at Dawson Street and Nassau Street.
[SECOE Nenagh] This project will develop a Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Energy which will be the anchor and catalyst for the redevelopment of the Martyr’s Road Regeneration Quarter.
[Crown Square Galway] Located one mile from Galway, will be a new integrated campus that harnesses the economic potential of the city. The development includes five office buildings, 288 apartments and a 175-bed hotel. These landmark type buildings are designed around a public plaza on 12.65 acres of landscaped grounds accommodation.
