Susquehanna International Group (SIG) Headquarters

An environment that supports the specialised work of the companies individuals and teams.

SIG’s goals for the design were to provide a single work setting across its business, encourage connections between different parts of the business, and provide an environment that supports the specialised work of the company's individuals and teams. The fit-out was designed to Tier II standards and over a forty-week contract period. International House was completely stripped out, services and finishes renewed, and substantial repairs to the external fabric were undertaken.

Balancing quality with minimalism and a calm conservative approach.

The need to balance quality with minimalism and a calm conservative approach to materials and finishes was a real design challenge. Texture of materiality was contrasted with the rawness of the existing building's concrete structure. This deliberate strategy allows glimpses throughout the expansive floor plates of the “bones” of the building.

This 11,150m² commercial fit-out project includes a full refurbishment of International House with trading/technology support floors accommodating a staff of approximately 500, a major data centre, three cafés, and a gymnasium.
