Metlife Galway

MetLife brings new life to an almost derelict site in the centre of Galway City Centre through inventive fit-out and options for workspaces.

By repurposing a three story building in the heart of Galway, we designed, specified and coordinated a new technology-campus to support and enhance the global ambitions of the digital company Metlife. Opened in 2017, the new facility accommodates up to 250 staff in light filled and varied workspaces all carved from a city-centre existing structure. It was ahead of its time in providing an environment focused on choice and wellbeing, interconnectivity and visual transparency. Toplit stairs and indoor courtyards open up the deep plan and create a place that integrates old fabric with new fit-out. This balance is based on close collaboration in the way with work so that others can enjoy the ambiance of an open-work environment.
