Shane Kearney - Technical Director

Shane is a Technical Director at Henry J Lyons and has worked on and led the design and delivery of several award-winning buildings across a number of sectors, with a particular focus on large-scale residential developments including The Crossings at Adamstown and Sandyford Central.

Shane uses his experience in practice and academia to provide leadership in the creation of a culture of technical innovation and excellence, driving the development of advanced delivery stage workflows and methodologies for large complex projects within the practice. This ensures the practice continues providing an ever-improving service to our entire client base. In addition to his work in Henry J Lyons, Shane has been a lecturer in MSc Applied Building Information Modelling & Management and BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology at TUDublin since 2014. Shane also sits on the RIAI Practice Committee Technical Subgroup.

An advocate for lifelong education, Shane graduated top of his class with First Class Honours from the Dublin School of Architecture in Bolton Street. Shane also holds postgraduate qualifications in Project Management, Construction Law, Digital Construction Analytics and Construction Innovation.

[Sandyford Central] A high-density residential project comprising 564 apartments, distributed across six buildings strategically planned along high quality landscaping, creating pedestrian pathways that foster new urban connections.
[Bray Primary Care] The 5,000m² facility includes a variety of treatment rooms for different HSE departments including GP rooms, dental consultation rooms, addiction and mental health services and is complemented by a private GP clinic, pharmacy and café.
