The Fleet Hotel

The Fleet Street Hotel in Temple Bar, Dublin, holds a rich history as the former home of the renowned Bewley's bakery and café.

Established by Ernest Bewley in 1905. The significance of the Bewley's Rooms in the context of the Irish social scene of that era was carefully honored in our interior design, aiming to capture the warmth and grandeur of that bygone time.

NODA was entrusted with the task of transforming the TGI Fridays restaurant on Fleet Street into the new public areas of The Fleet Street Hotel. Situated within the original Bewleys building, we embarked on a journey of discovery, unearthing and meticulously restoring the original listed features, seamlessly integrating them into our elegant new design.

In late 2022, NODA merged with Henry J Lyons to form Henry J Lyons Hospitality. Find more about this here

The historically significant Bewley’s Rooms played a pivotal role in shaping Irish society, and this influence served as our inspiration in crafting the interior ambiance, evoking the warmth and grandeur of its past.

Our renovation efforts encompassed a comprehensive overhaul of the ground floor, where we relocated the reception desk and the lobby/seating area from the first floor to the ground floor, creating a more inviting space and enhancing the hotel's presence on Fleet Street.

The old basement nightclub underwent a remarkable transformation, emerging as a bright, spacious breakfast dining area and a functional business center. Additionally, we breathed new life into the original bar, reimagining it as the stylish Café 1920’s bar and restaurant, thus revitalizing this historic establishment for the modern era.
