Aloft Hotel

A next-generation hotel that uses technology and design to enhance the guest experience.

As the little sister brand to the W hotels and first of its kind in Ireland, the Aloft brand caters to the technological savvy, modern traveler who craves urban-inspired style that reflects the location. Prior to joining Henry J Lyons, NODA were engaged to design and deliver the interior design services for 202 bedrooms, bedroom corridors and all public areas including ground floor entry and level 7. The Aloft brand is a next generation hotel that uses technology and design to enhance the guest experience with interactive technology throughout the hotel. An important cornerstone of the brand guidelines is for the hotel locality to be incorporated into the Marriot brand standards. To that end, NODA designed bedrooms by combining brand standards with bespoke artwork by a local artist ( Sketchy) featuring historical landmarks in the area.

The hotel's public spaces have been planned to elevate the guest experience, incorporating interactive technology that seamlessly integrates with your stay. These innovations include mobile check-in, where your smartphone acts as your room key, the availability of an Apple Watch application, and strategically placed charging stations in touch-down areas throughout the premises for your convenience. Furthermore, the design of the public areas has been optimized to make the most of the scenic surroundings. In these communal spaces, a deliberate effort has been made to foster connections among travelers, encouraging them to gather and engage with one another.
